Confidence Leads to Comfort

Alice's confidence in herself has made her ever so comfortable with the fetish.

There I am, nose to toes with Alice's size 11 feet and her well worn flats - the ones she wears to work daily. She doesn't care. Nope. She actually thinks it's rather adorable. And knowing her, she probably wore them a little longer just to moisten them up inside. Oh Alice...

Alice is like many of the females I've become friends with over the years. She doesn't find my fetish to be anything out of the ordinary. She fully believes your kinks should be something you embrace. She even said as much in her January 2016 Interview on the Wu's Feet Links Interviews Blog.

"There is nothing to be ashamed of. We like what we like and everyone likes something different. Take pride in what sexually arouses you! Have fun with it!" she encouraged.

I decided to start this blog off with Alice because of the journey she took to get to where she is now modeling. It would have been so easy for Alice to classify me as a "creepy old guy with a foot fetish," and never entertain the idea. Add in the 18 years separating us and her preconceived notion about the fetish prior to shooting for me and it makes for a great example of the purpose of this blog.

"When I was first introduced to foot fetishism, I thought it was a joke, honestly. I was a little judgmental and thought it was weird," she admitted.

So what made her change her mind? What lead her to eagerly want stick her sweaty feet in my face for the photo above? It was my confidence as it pertains to my fetish and ability to make her feel comfortable because of it. That led to her own confidence to grow and her own feelings to change. Now she realizes the beauty and power her large size 11 feet have over many of us out there.

Alice's ever growing confidence has led to her becoming one of the site's most photographed models within just two short years. It just continues to grow and now she's even asking her friends to shoot.

There was once a time, however, where I didn't exude that confidence in my fetish. It's been an awful long time, but my love for women's feet was something I used to be embarrassed about. You'd have to go back to when I was 18 and dating Abby to find that version of me.

All these years later, I'm so lucky to have Abby still modeling her adorable little feet.

Back in 1997 a skinnier me was getting introduced to perhaps still the softest feet I've ever touched. Abby read me like a book. Even back in high school, before we dated, she knew I liked feet. Once we started dating, she went and made a monster out of me. First, however, she had to open the cage door and make me step out. And it didn't take her long to unlock that door and begin that process either.

The very first day we hung out together, she was sticking McDonald's French fries between her toes and encouraging me to eat them. A much more timid me, was hesitant. I had never experienced such a blatant request and yet, there she was, beckoning me with a confidence of her own that started to make me feel more comfortable. Each and every experience afterward would only make my own confidence grow. Still, however, that was only between the two of us.

A few months later, Abby told me that she told a few of her friends that I had a foot fetish. I honestly remember that conversation in her living room and feeling embarrassed. "How would they look at me now?" I thought.

Abby assured me that her friends thought it was awesome. I was still feeling a little unsure of her decision, but I'd eventually see that she was right. I even got to take foot fetish photos of one of those friends, an Asian girl living next door. When I got them both together in a set, I didn't think it could get any better. The monster was officially born.

In her 2006 Wu's Feet Links Fan Interview, Abby shed some light on her feelings all those years ago. She said, "My ex-boyfriend, Patrick, is who got me into the foot fetish world. That was his thing and I supported it. I told him it was a great thing and not to be shy about it."

Fast forward to present day and I guess you can say the shoe is now on the other foot, pun intended. It's my own confidence that has allowed me to have countless female friends shoot for Soles of Silk. I rarely have to convince anyone. I just ask. The only things that generally holds my female friends back from shooting are their partners not being as comfortable with the idea, or things such as jobs. These girls know what I do and have become comfortable enough with me to want to kick their shoes off and show all of you their feet. And as you can see, even after we broke up back in 1999, Abby still actively models her captivating feet for me. I'm glad we've maintained our friendship and that she still loves being in front of my camera making her feet wrinkle up like no other.

If Mindee could shoot every day, I honestly think she would. She loves it.

I'd be lying if I told you that some models didn't need a little convincing though. Even Mindee, the site's most photographed model, wasn't sure about it back in 2004. Once she became comfortable, however, her confidence also began to grow. Now Mindee has over 4,000 photos and counting with no signs of stopping. Another thing she's quick to take advantage of is my foot massage skills. If I haven't grabbed her feet at some point during our get togethers, she's sure to push the issue. Down time is foot rub time! We're actually meeting today for lunch and a foot rub. This is such a far cry from how things were 13 years ago. In her case, I might have created the monster!

"In the beginning I was terrified. The simple fact is you're my friend and you already made me feel comfortable. The truth now is, I absolutely enjoy it!" Mindee said in her 10 for 10 interview conducted during Soles of Silk 10 Year Anniversary celebration.

As you can see, both Mindee and Alice have had a similar story. They both came from a place of uncertainty and progressed to a place where they can't wait to find some more time in front of the camera, or with their feet being pampered by yours truly. The same holds true for some of the models I wasn't friends with prior, say someone who was a friend of a friend, for example. 

When those first timers show up to a shoot and and see how laid back I am about the site and fetish, they begin to grow more comfortable. I sometimes even crack jokes about the fetish, or even on myself for having it. I don't care. If it helps relieve any tension that girl may have, I'll do it.

"I just might be the only male photographer you'll have that means your toes when I ask you to, 'spread'em," I will often say to a newbie.

I don't think that has never not elicited a laugh. Then I'll usually tell her that I should look into what the other guys are shooting now that I think about it. Again, that's usually followed by more laughs. Those little things go a long way.

With all this said, I won't sit here and tell you that there isn't the rare exception where a woman is just repulsed by the idea of someone into feet. Not everyone has the same opinions, or are as open minded as likes Abby, Alice, or Mindee. These types of people won't change their mind, no matter what you say. There is no need to try to convince them. Surely, there are some models who you might be able to pay enough money to get in front of your camera, but I'm talking more about those who do it because they have fun with it. The ones you have to overpay won't be fun to shoot and I have no interest in them. To each their own, though.

When it comes to personal friendships, if there is ever a person who ceases being your friend, or treats you with disrespect for simply having a foot fetish, they're not worth your time. Move on and find someone less petty. Life is too short to surround yourself with people like that. No real need to elaborate on this any further. Let them screw off.

It is not impossible have a healthy friendship with someone who will never understand your fetish or kinks pertaining to feet though. I currently work with such a girl who turned me down ASAP when I asked her to shoot a couple of years ago. She hates feet and doesn't get the fetish at all. Even when Kaycee and Reagan tried to talk her into shooting, she flat out refused. Kaycee and Reagan have a blast shooting and thought they might be able to talk her into it - girl to girl. But alas, nope. I did appreciate their effort though.

Regardless of her feelings, I can respect that. It doesn't appeal to her and has never affected our friendship. If over time she should begin to have a change of heart, then maybe we'll shoot. For now though, she's just a friend who doesn't get barefoot in front of my camera. You can have those friends.

The one thing that I've come to find troublesome is when you're in a romantic relationship and your partner is the one who can't accept your fetish. For me, I cannot be with someone who doesn't accept my fetish. If that sounds selfish, I make no apologies. My fetish is a part of me and I know there are enough people out there who would appreciate it. And yes, I've been in a relationship with someone who hated the attention I'd tried to give her feet. That person is Paige Noelle, who'd later model for the site.

I was shocked when Paige offered to model for me after we broke up.

Paige and I only dated for several months, but the entire time we did, she protested my desire to give her a foot rub while we'd watch TV, or relax after a long day at work. Knowing that, I knew other kinks concerning her feet were out of the question. We lasted only a few months and broke things off amicably.

With that knowledge, you can imagine my confusion when Paige offered to shoot for Soles of Silk a couple of years after we broke up. She wanted me to take some standard pictures of her and offered to do mine in trade. She admitted that she still didn't get the whole fetish, and didn't find her feet to be as cute as I claimed. She still thought it could be fun nonetheless and I accepted her offer. As strange as it sounds, loved being back around her feet. It was like they were that forbidden fruit. That shoot was easily the most time I spent before her tender feet, before, during, or after our break up. 

When it comes to other people's relationships, I have been contacted by a number of guys over the years who are in a similar situation as I was with Paige. It's hard for me to give them advice because in some of cases, they've hidden their fetish their entire lives. Ever since Abby, all my subsequent girlfriends have known the deal with my fetish. Minus Paige, all of them adored the attention I gave their feet. They'd throw their feet in my lap for a foot rub without my asking, then eventually have journey elsewhere - both north and south. Whether it was for teasing or pleasing purposes, those girls loved the power their feet had over me and made sure to take advantage of it. That's just what loving couples do.

What really upsets me is when I hear some of these guys tell me that not even their own wife or girlfriend know about their fetish, even though they've been together for a long time. I can't even fathom what that would be like. But it gets worse...  Some even think telling their spouse could potentially tear apart their relationship. That's just not good. How do you even respond to that?

I'm no relationship councilor, so the only thing I can tell people in this situation is basically what I've said above. Accept your fetish. Let go of the fear of that others will think less of you. If you display your confidence, and appreciate a woman above her ankles as well (very important), then more times than not, she'll come around to it.

Ultimately, only you know yourself and those who surround you. No matter what you do in life, never feel bad about having your fetish. Accept it, but don't allow it to consume you. It can be a fun part of who you are, if you allow it to be. You might start off like I did and be weary of the path before you, but just know that some of those twists and turns can lead you to some memorable times.

Wasted Time & Wasted Days

Alice has been nothing but dependable from the first time I shot with her in 2015.

Typically I am not one to put drama out online. I've gotten on my own friends and relatives who participate in it on places such as Facebook, but today I need to climb onto a soapbox. I, however, will not be naming names here. I'm, instead, here to vent about a topic that is near and dear to many photographers out there. That topic is models who waste your time and waste your open days.

Now, I will be totally up front and say that I generally do not shoot what most consider to be "foot fetish models." I mostly stick to friends and friends of those friends. I still, however, face that same fate as so many of my peers. And just like those peers, it annoys the hell out of me. This weekend among them.

Again, I will not be naming any names, but today I was set to shoot a friend of mine who has not shot with me since 2013. Her debut was halfway through 2012 and in that short span of time, became one of the most talked about, most beloved models on Soles of Silk. And best of all, she was simply put, a doll. 

This model and I were good friends, first and foremost. Best of all, she loved modeling for the site. Then one day, she just stopped replying to me for shoots. We had plans to do some really interesting ideas too. To make matters even worse, I had given her a couple hundred dollars worth of outfits and accessories I wanted her to wear in those planned sets. When she stopped replying to me and then ultimately no showed that shoot date, I was perplexed. I kept trying to reach out to her, but nothing.

As the months went by I tried to reach out to her, even if it was just to get the outfits back. If something had changed in her life to where she didn't want to model anymore, that is okay. Just be honest with me and give me those items back. I could always have someone else wear them. Still, nothing.

This got to the point where I just stopped trying - until recently. I decided to see if I could reach out to her a few years later and much to my surprise, she got back to me. We made small talk and decided to get together and shoot. She was looking forward to it, so it seemed, and I was so excited to be having this model back on the site. Then today's shoot... well, cancellation.

This model told me she'd be able to shoot after class on Monday. I told her I would leave the day open and look for some spots around her way. I wanted to try to get in several sets because she has been away for so long. She said that sounded great and that was the plan.

Well, in the days leading up to today's shoot I didn't get an answer from her when I sent her texts. In the back of my mind I figured this would happen, but I had kept my fingers crossed. It wasn't until today, about an hour or so before we were scheduled to shoot, that I got any kind of reply from her. In it, she stated that she hasn't paid attention to her phone lately, she's super swamped with class and work, and her feet weren't in any condition to shoot. She then asked if I could do next Monday instead.

Really?

There was part of me who wanted to just say no and I'm not bothering with you anymore. All she would have had to do is tell me this in the days leading up to the shoot. I would have been fine if she said that things are getting a little busy for her and had asked to postpone to a later date. Just give me some advanced notice! But an hour before we were supposed to shoot? C'mon!!!

So now, here I am, sitting at my computer, writing this, and asking her what time slot she has open next Monday. I have some plans with friends that I had made over a month ago to head out to a haunted house and hayride. I am not going to cancel on them to do this shoot because that's not who I am. But should I even consider shooting her to begin with?

Now that Monday was wasted, a day in the mid-70's by the way, that makes two straight days that I had shoots planned that didn't happen. Yup, someone else cancelled on me yesterday. 

Yesterday's planned shoot was with a new model. Since she's new, and I don't really know her yet, I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. She mentioned some health reasons, which are good reasons to miss a shoot. I just wished she would have reached out to me about it earlier instead of me learning the night before when I messaged her.

So that was my weekend. Two different models, two different shoots not done. What makes this so much more annoying is I only have two days a week to shoot, typically. I pencil in models in advance on my calendar and try to maximize my month. When a model no shows me, or cancels last minute, it leaves me without a shoot. All these models would have to do it tell me a few days in advance and I could try to see if someone else is open. I constantly have friends asking me if I'm open to shoot, so I could always ask them if they're still open. I just need some advance notice. Too many of the people I shoot have kids, families, and work jobs on the days that I'm open. They usually make time to shoot with me, so I can't ask the day of if they're open to shoot. That rarely works.

Over the years this sort of thing has happened to me more times than I care to discuss. I only bring up this weekend because of the beautiful weather and my sheer excitement of a popular model return and a brand new model now wasted. So, if you happen to be a foot model reading this, please keep this in mind the next time there is a reason why you can't shoot. Even if that reason is legit, just try your best to be considerate of the photographer who oftentimes, made his/her schedule open just to spend time to work with you. I'm sure some of my peers are less understanding and might even cease working with you because of it.

To end on a positive note, I'm just glad I have friends/models such as Alice (above) and Mindee and Kelsey (both below) who always keep their plans and go far and beyond anything I ask of them. I put their photos here just to give props to a handful of my models who don't waste my time. I would gladly shoot these three each and every week, if I had the time. To you ladies, I say thank you!

Big Female Feet Preference - The Interviews

Alice has become aware of how desirable her size 11 feet are since debuting on Soles of Silk.

Whenever I interview people for columns here on the Wu's Feet Links Columns Blog I always ask way more questions than I can even hope to use. I do this because sometimes I'll get answers I didn't expect, or ones that were honestly, just too plain to even include. In my mind, I'd rather have more than enough and not it all than not have enough and have to ask for more last minute.

The previous column here on the blog, "Bigger Feet = More! And More is Better...," saw me take to the Wu's Feet Links Forum to look for fans of big feet. I interviewed one of my own models, Alice, from Soles of Silk because of something she said that inspired the column to begin with. From there I needed the help of other foot fetishists who loved big feet to explain just why they do.

Typically, I would have used their replies, as I did in the piece, and then be done with it. Something happened, however, as I wrote that piece. I found that many things that those who I interviewed said fit the column perfectly. The problem, however, was not saying the same thing over and over, or making the column really long. These fetishists love big feet, not big columns! Anyhow, I published the piece and didn't really think much more about it.

A few days later, after the column was published, one of the forum members contacted me. He asked if I had any plans to post the full interview. I wasn't sure if he meant Alice's, his, or all those who took part. We chatted for a little bit and I told him I'd think about it. Well, I did and a few ideas were sparked by the conversation.

The first idea was that I would publish Alice's full length interview on the Wu's Feet Links Interviews Blog. It's actually already featured in the member section of Soles of Silk with dozens of other model interviews, but all the non-members do not have access. I've decided that I'd like to share it in its entirety, but with one change - I am going to extend it. Not only will it feature all the questions asked in her Big Female Feet Interview, used for the column and found on Soles of Silk, but it will also feature new questions as well. Look for that later this month.

The second idea was to publish the six forum members interviews as well. This is primarily what was asked of me by the forum member. I wasn't sure about how to do this at first, mostly because I like the Wu's Feet Links interviews to focus on just one person, or a couple, at most. Having six people all in one interview might be a little confusing. What I decided to do, however, was to place the all the of the forum members' interviews here on the Wu's Feet Links Columns Blog.

I did something similar back in March of 2015 with the column, "Photos of Foot Fetish Wives & Girlfriends: Why Couples Love to Share." In that piece, I gave each person their own little spot, complete with pictures. In this column, however, I'm going to list each person's answer below the question asked.

I really appreciate all of those who help me with these columns and interviews. Without the public, none of this would be possible. I can only say what I like, or talk about my own experiences so much. I have a place to do that already on the Soles of Silk Blog, so I try not to do it too often here. I also reached out to a few other foot fetish site owners and models and asked if I could include some pictures of their models with size 10-plus feet here. Alice gets the top spot because she inspired all this, but this is for all the ladies with big feet and us guys who love them. Once again, thanks everyone, and here are those interviews:

How old were you when you first began to notice female feet? 

Dougiezerts: At age nine or 10, I think.

Fwrinkled: I was in the 7th grade. I would say around 12 years old.

Glabrous1: My early teens. Twas the beginning of the whole hippie/no shoes thing -more on that later. But notice I did, with arousal a'plenty.

Icecold: I was probably around eight or nine. It was a glance here, a glance there, and before I knew it, I just loved seeing them. 

Oneagain: I was very young. I still have memories of being maybe four to five years old, admiring women's feet in Sears and JCPenny's catalogs.

Sol: I first noticed female feet around the age of 10, but didn't realize I truly had a fetish until around the age of 14.

Did you always have a preference for bigger feet, or was that something that came along later? 

Dougiezerts: Came along later.

Fwrinkled: I didn't always have a thing for big feet, it was just feet in general. My thing for big feet came later.

Glabrous1: Nope, 'twas bigger from the get-go. Easier to see at a distance and more to see up close.

Icecold: It came along later. At first it was the skinny to average foot, but once I started getting more feet, I realized that the bigger the better. There's nothing better than a pair of big soft soles on your face, and there's a lot more licking to be done. 

Oneagain: Originally the smaller the better, I thought. But as I grew, my desire for bigger feet came along and it is my preference without any signs of me going back! 

Sol: I actually had a preference for petite and dainty feet way back when I first discovered my fetish. This evolved into a love for long toes, and eventually carried over to a love for big feet.

Do you remember when you first began thinking that you liked women’s feet on the bigger side? 

Dougiezerts: Not sure. My girlfriend has rather large feet! 

Fwrinkled: I don't remember, but what I noticed first were how wide women with big feet were and how big feet fit into high heel shoes - or just any shoes in general.

Glabrous1: As I said, with the notice came the preference - the "slight" evolution came as I realized I liked them big... really big, wide, and well-worn, rough, callused, rarely shod - which usually means dirty as well.

Icecold: The first time I got a hold of some. It was a big girl, and I noticed she had nice feet. The amount of wrinkles on them was amazing!

Oneagain: Probably within the last five to 10 years. Can't say a specific moment, but I probably saw some models online that had these dy-no-mite soles that were big and I got hooked. I became addicted once I had a pair of size 10's in my lap. 

Sol: About two years ago I was working with an amateur model taking photos of her feet when I asked her her shoe size. She gave me one answer and when I checked the label of her shoes it showed a bigger size. I was really surprised she tried to play down the size, even though I could immediately check it. I could tell she was embarrassed by the size, so I didn't press her on it. This left an impression and really got me thinking about big feet for the first time. She became one of my favorite models and ever since then I've loved girls with big feet.

What exactly is it that makes you prefer a larger pair of feet on a woman than a smaller pair? 

Dougiezerts: The more to hold onto, with your hands! 

Fwrinkled: Women with big feet shows more wrinkles on their soles.

Glabrous1: More square tactile surface to enjoy, to play with. Despite the common assumption that callus equals no sensation, my first foot experience was with a pair of indestructible soles - albeit on smaller feet. Her soles were directly connected to her clit. Go figure!

Icecold: The more you can work with, the better. I'm not a small guy down there, so a pair of big feet to slide in between is just best for me. And as I mentioned before, there's more to lick. With skinny feet, you cover every inch pretty quickly. With big feet you can go on for a while because by the time you get back to a spot you've covered, it's been so much time it's like you were never there!

Oneagain: More to love. More soles to taste. Just love having that bigger handful. There is more personality and flexibility. More curves to adore. 

Sol: If you think about it, size has always been an important factor in sexuality. Whether it's height and muscle mass for men, or breast and ass size for women, there seems to be a universal appreciation for size. As someone with a foot fetish, I view feet with the same sexual significance as I do breasts or ass. So in the same way I would view a large pair of breasts as being sexually desirable in a woman, I also view a large pair of feet as being sexually desirable. If you find something sexually desirable, you kind of want "more" of it, and a bigger size gives you that.

In your opinion, what shoe size is the minimum to be considered "big?" 

Dougiezerts: Hmm... size 9 or 10.

Fwrinkled: Shoe size 9 and larger I consider to be big feet.

Glabrous1: Size 10.5 E.

Icecold: Ten. Ten and above I would consider big. 

Oneagain: Ten, but 9's make my mouth water as well! 

Sol: The minimum I would consider big is a US size 10 (EU 41/UK 7), but the average shoe size is increasing so much that a US 10 is really common nowadays. It's only with a US size 11 (EU 42/UK 8) or bigger that a woman's feet will really catch my attention.

Do you believe that some women are ashamed of having larger feet and therefore don't consider modeling for foot fetish content? 

Dougiezerts: I think a lot of girls are ashamed of their feet, in general.

Fwrinkled: I don't know, but I know a lot of women who have big feet who don't want say what size their feet are. Like a lady who lives up the street from me, says she wear a size 9. I know her feet is bigger. I want them in my hands!

Glabrous1: Absolutely, as culturally it's been made to be unacceptable.

Icecold: I truly do. I've come across women who have beautiful big feet that won't show them off simply because they are too big.

Oneagain: Yes, a few women that I had the pleasure to adore their size 10-plus feet were conscious of their "big feet" and thought it was unfeminine. They felt it was a drawback on a male finding them attractive. 

Sol: Yes absolutely. I've actually had an easier time advertising for models with smelly feet than for models with big feet, believe it or not!

Why do you think women consider having big feet such a negative?

Dougiezerts: Well, like I said, many consider their feet unattractive. Perhaps the fact that they're big makes it worse for them. Maybe it's similar to girls with big breasts!

Fwrinkled: Because of the idiots who think they know a lot.

Glabrous1: The culture, aided and abetted by the media, and the "fashion" industry - those nice folks that create foot-damaging "fashionable" shoes.

Icecold: I think they feel as though men won't appreciate them. Or it could be that they feel men would rather have their women with petite feet. Either way if there's any big-footed women reading this, I want to let you know there's a whole world out there that will appreciate those feet, regardless of size!

Oneagain: Ideal feminine beauty has always stressed "dainty" and big feet is generally thought of as more manly 

Sol: Having big feet is almost seen as a taboo thing for women. The social narrative is that they are "supposed" to have small dainty feet, and anything big is seen as unfeminine and unsexy. This is reinforced by the fact that stores only sell up to a certain size, making it difficult for women with big feet to find shoes in their size. 

Earlier this year I had an 18 year old model named Alice, with size 11 feet, debut on Soles of Silk. She was nervous what people would think about her big feet, but was elated to read all the positive feedback she got on her debut set. Since then she's been posing on a very regular basis and seeing all her newest feedback is making her realize her big feet are indeed, desirable. Do you think forums like on Wu's Feetlinks and social media help someone realize this? Are you someone who likes to leave that kind of feedback to encourage women like Alice to embrace their big feet? 

Dougiezerts: Yes, but it can go too far. Socially inept guys often leave very inappropriate comments that will turn girls off to us.

Fwrinkled: Right, I have a friend, who is a size 6, who told me about a female friend of hers who wear a size 11. She loves foot attention. The lady who wears the size 6 knows I will drop her as soon as I get my hands on those size 11's. One of the reason I married my third wife is because of her big feet - a size 10.5 wide.

Glabrous1: It has to - to what extent, I'd be hard-pressed to calculate. For myself, I need to improve my giving of feedback. I tend to space it and just head for the next picture. My bad there folks. 

Icecold: Of course. A few years back I encouraged my wife to put pictures of her feet on Wu's. She got a lot of great feedback, and she is a size 10. Before that, she was really self conscious about her feet. So I know from experience that Wu's is a great place to conquer their fears and self consciousness.

Oneagain: Yes, I think forums like Wu's can help show there are many fans that love big feet. I wouldn't immediately show a woman the Wu's forums, however, as they can get graphic quick and can put off some women. Sol: Yes, absolutely. Since the social narrative is that big feet are "undesirable" for women, it's important to be vocal about it and show that there are plenty of guys who actually love women with larger feet. The good news is that as the average shoe size continues to grow rapidly, so too will the public perception of women having big feet.

Other than size alone, what about women's feet are you into - whether a part of the foot, an aspect, or specific acts? 

Dougiezerts: I'm not into foot odor, or foot worship, although I'll sometimes kiss my girlfriend's feet, or even lick them! 

Fwrinkled: I am very much in love with women feet that have a lot of wrinkles on their soles. High arches with veins, and the heels of women feet that are also wrinkly, with a little smell, and have deep red toenail polish are ideal.

Glabrous1: Kissing, massaging, stroking, footjobs... By the way, footjobs and foot kissing only when clean. I may have proclivities, but I ain't stupid. There's also something pleasant about being massaged with a pair of big boats on the neck and shoulders. 

Icecold: Wrinkles. They drive me crazy. The picture of Alice where her wrinkles are right in my face is amazing. I also love a good solejob. No better place to be than in between soles.

Oneagain: Love to worship soles. I'm mainly a sole guy, but toes get sucked as well! I like a variety of depths of smell. Icecold: Alice, you have nothing to be afraid of. Your feet are a 10. And if there are ever negative comments, just realize that everybody has their own preference. I know for sure that the vast majority of foot men, and women, will be positive. You're a beautiful girl with beautiful feet.

Oneagain: Alice is a beautiful woman and her feet are very sexy. Would love to see more sole flexing and toe spreading. And yeah, I am one of the guys that always suggest seeing some self-sniffing or self-worshipping!

Sol: The most important thing to remember is that guys who are not into feet simply won't care about the size or shape of a girl's feet - it won't even register in their mind. Bigger Feet = More! And More is Better...

Since her debut, Alice's big feet have become two of the most photographed on the site.

"My feet are long and skinny, with toes the length of fingers. I was always made fun of for having long toes, and big feet in general." - Alice 

I'd like to tell a little story - one that stems from a shoot earlier this year with one of the site's newer models named Alice. I've been friends with Alice for a couple of years. She was a coworker mine until recently and we live close to one another. She's only 19, but posed for her first sets while she was still 18 back in April.

From the start, Alice was a little nervous about how people would react to a certain aspect of her feet - the fact that they're a size 11. From the time Alice first mentioned that she was thinking about modeling, I told her that she was going to have fans simply because she has big feet. Having been teased her entire life about her feet, she really didn't believe me.

"I certainly did not believe you at first," Alice said. "I was so used to anytime someone talked about my feet, they were making fun of them, but you weren't. You were serious."

It's not hard to understand why Alice would be hesitant to believe me. For 18 years she's heard it all when it came to her size 11's. She literally hated them for much of her life.

"When I was younger I grew to hate my feet. I even began wearing socks when I went swimming," Alice explained. "I have endured a lifetime of 'playful' jokes and comments. I would pretend they didn't bother me, but eventually I became very self conscious about my large feet."

Nevertheless, Alice was a trooper and decided to pose for Soles of Silk anyhow. She always enjoyed being in front of the camera for her friends who are into photography, but I give her a lot of credit for giving the whole foot fetish genre a try. I just hoped that once she saw the positive feedback from her sets, that maybe, just maybe she'd begin to feel differently about her feet.

It was April of this year when Alice would do her first set. I couldn't wait to get a few photos from the sets up onto the site's Instagram (@SolesofSilk) and Twitter (@SolesofSilk) pages. Any positive feedback on those would only serve to strengthen what I had been telling her all along. I turned out to be right!

"I honestly just didn't think people would say anything at all. I didn't expect to get so many likes or retweets. Everything seemed to be just so positive and sweet," Alice said.

In the weeks following, Alice's first set was added to the site. Her photos made their way to the Wu's Feet Links Forum where even more positive comments were left for the site's newest model. Like I always do, I shared them with her. Needless to say, it made her so happy to read all the kind words.

Now I had feedback, from multiple sources, over the span of a couple of weeks saying how much they loved Alice and her size 11 feet. Mission accomplished! Now Alice knew her feet weren't as bad as she had come to view them. 

A few months later, however, something happened during a shoot she did with our mutual friend, Camille, that really made my day. It was the first set - a solo one of just Alice. I wanted Camille to see what it would be like when she shot her first set immediately following. About half way through Alice's set, she claimed that posing for Soles of Silk had made her so much more accepting of her own feet and she thinks of them differently now.

"My feet are long and skinny, with toes the length of fingers. I was always made fun of for having long toes, and big feet in general," Alice explained. "Now I look at my feet and realize, 'Hey, they're not so bad. They're kind of cute, actually.'"

Alice saying that made me proud. Soles of Silk, and the photos I take for it, made her feel better about herself. This wasn't someone just happy to be getting paid for taking photos. This was a real experience, with a friend, where it made me feel good.

Over the years I've encountered countless women who claimed their feet were "ugly," "gross," or whatever other negative word you can come up with. For the most part, however, none of those girls had to go through years of teasing and ridicule over their feet. They just never thought much of them until they began posing for Soles of Silk. So for Alice to have that shift in thinking, it meant a lot to hear her say that. She deserves to feel that way. She's a total sweetheart!

With that newly found confidence, Alice has gone on to pose for 11 sets from her debut in April until the last one we shot in October. Very few times have I shot 11 sets or more of a model in a single year, let alone one brand new to the site. And that brings me to my next point.

Alice's big feet captivate me. 

Alice has caused a growing appreciation of big feet within me. Even though I've had a handful of experiences with models with a shoe size over 10, Alice, for some reason, has me paying a little extra attention to "size," if you will. While I won't claim to a big feet only person, this  specific attraction has never been this strong for me. For other people, however, that's a preference they've been exploring for some time.

I couldn't wait to see Alice's feet encased in nude stockings.

When I came up with the idea to do this column topic I thought it would be a good idea to reach out to some of the fans of big feet. I made a thread on the Wu's Feet Links Forum asking for those who have this attraction to contact me. Almost immediately I began getting private messages from people telling me how much they love big feet and would love to take part in the column.

As anyone with a foot fetish knows, what you like isn't what the next guy likes. I wasn't sure what kind of response I'd get when asking everyone why they specifically like big feet over smaller feet. Once the replies began coming in, however, I saw a trend. A trend that "more" is better. Just look how many times the word "more" was used in the replies to that question alone:

"More to love. More soles to taste. Just love having a bigger handful. There is more personality and flexibility. More curves to adore." - Oneagain

"If you think about it, size has always been an important factor in sexuality. Whether it's height and muscle mass for men, or breast and ass size for women, there seems to be a universal appreciation for size. As someone with a foot fetish, I view feet with the same sexual significance as I do breasts or ass. So in the same way I would view a large pair of breasts as being sexually desirable in a woman, I also view a large pair of feet as being sexually desirable. If you find something sexually desirable, you kind of want more of it. Bigger size gives you that." - Sol

"The more you can work with, the better. I'm not a small guy down there, so a pair of big feet to slide in between is just best for me. And as I mentioned before, there's more to lick. With [small] feet, you cover every inch pretty quickly. I can honestly say during the shoots Alice and I have done this year, "more" certainly applied when it came to massaging her heavenly feet. Having so much area for my fingers to press into along her smooth soles was quickly evident. Since I also love shoving my fingers between a woman's toes, I found so much space between Alice's long, wide spreading toes. Needless to say, I was in my own little world pampering her feet and am grateful for her allowing me the privilege to do so. Don't even get me started on the added bonus of them being sweaty - that's another column topic for another time! I wonder if she'd take part in that one?

Who better to do a size teasing set than a girl with plenty of shoe size?

So at a size 11, Alice's feet are tied for the largest on Soles of Silk with Molly. This begs the question, however, what constitutes big to a fan of big feet?

"Shoe size 9 and larger I consider big feet," Fwrinkledsoles said.

"10, but 9's make my mouth water as well!" said Oneagain.

"10 and above I would consider big," said Icecold.

"The minimum I would consider big is a US size 10 (EU 41/UK 7), but the average shoe size is increasing so much that a US size 10 is really common nowadays," Sol explained. "It's only with a US size 11 (EU 42/UK 8) or bigger that a woman's feet will really catch my attention."

Overall, the smallest answer given to me was a size 9 (US), but most seemed to agree that it's 10 or larger. For many of those I spoke with, however, they weren't always into the bigger feet. It's something that evolved as their foot fetish began to grow.

"I actually had a preference for petite and dainty feet way back when I first discovered my fetish. This evolved into a love for long toes and eventually carried over to a love for big feet," Sol said.

"The first time I got a hold of some. It was a big girl, and I noticed she had nice feet. The amount of wrinkles on them was amazing!" Icecold shared.

"Originally the smaller the better, I thought. But as I grew, my desire for bigger feet came along and it's my preference without any signs of me going back," Oneagain explained.

For others, they were hard pressed to find an exact time or reason for liking bigger feet - they just do. Any foot fetishist can probably relate to that. It's like asking, "When did you first realize you liked feet?" It's next to impossible to answer. Most of us just did.

When it comes to foot fetishists who love bigger feet one thing is for sure. The kind words Alice has received since her debut were key in making her feel better about herself and her feet. My words went only so far. It was people like the ones above who made that happen, some of whom have their own similar experiences.

"A few years ago I encouraged my wife to put pictures of her feet on Wu's Feet Links. She got a lot of great feedback and she's a size 10. Before that she was really self conscious about her feet. So I know from experience that Wu's is a great place to conquer their fears and self consciousness," Icecold explains.

"I think forums like Wu's can help show there are a lot of fans that love big feet," Oneagain said. "In general, social media, in whatever form, could be a great way to show direct feedback of appreciation."

Believe me guys, I share those comments with my models from places like Wu's Feet Links regularly. Between social media and Wu's, the things Alice has now read online about her feet has  given me a model who is ready to pose whenever I ask. Not bad, if you ask me.

In more private conversations, Alice also admitted to being much more interested in foot fetishism as a whole now too. Apparently, she's explored some different things on her own, off camera as far as her feet are concerned.

"I know how to use them, if you get what I'm saying. I am just more thoughtful towards my feet now," Alice said.

Guess she'd make quite a few foot guys happy with a mindset like that, wouldn't you say? I'm sure her boyfriend would agree after she shared a certain little tidbit with me.

"My boyfriend and I both wanted to try new things, so I gave my first footjob! And well, posing my feet pretty much made me a natural at using them. I had so much fun doing it too! My feet pretty much were bigger than you know what - which I know can be a turn on to some. I just felt so in control over him, and he enjoyed it as well," Alice boasted.

I'm jealous, which was probably Alice's intention in sharing that with me. Anyhow, in all seriousness, I thank Alice for giving this a try and I thank all of you out there who take the time to commend a model for a job well done.
